Our ‘Wild’ texture pieces are named after both the character the texture creates, as well as what it represents. What we call the ‘wild’ nature of each individual, is the part of ourselves that is part of our truest and most honest self. We call it wild because it hasn’t been censored or conditioned by the world around us and is therefore still in its most natural form. This side of us is often hidden beneath the surface because it has been inhibited from coming forth, in a world full of certain expectations. We believe that we are in a time where we are potentially free enough to explore this side of ourselves and really find out what we are capable of.
The ‘Wild’ texture pieces are entirely handmade from start to finish. Each piece has its texture applied by hand and is therefore unique. No two are identical as each hammer stroke may fall slightly differently to the other. It makes these pieces so special and symbolic for the unique treasures we hold within.
