Some Words from the Founder

“I found my love for jewellery during a time of my life of deep soul searching. I came to a point, where I realised that I wasn’t living my life in a way that was authentic to my true self. On my journey of connecting back to myself and as way of healing from personal struggles, I felt that I needed a creative outlet. I have always loved fashion and visual aesthetics in general. I have an eye for it you might say. Classic, comfortable basics, high quality materials and most importantly, accessories, were my signature style. Put these together and I found myself training as a silver/goldsmith. Creating jewellery became my personal creative expression. The result was that my designs turned out to mirror realisations in my own process of personal growth,

I found that there was a part of me that had been dormant and unnourished, that longed to be revived. You could call it the soul, the true self or perhaps the inner world. In conversation with others I noticed that many were expressing similar things, and that it might be a collective experience within the spirit of our times.

I started as a creator in my own little home studio and after a few years developed bigger dreams. That is when I created Sofia Dickie Jewellery to offer my creations to the world, all the while dreaming of a brand that can empower us to live our true selves, and is able to support the healing of the earth and its inhabitants as it grows.”
